Maple Syrup and Brown Sugar Sausage

A different kick for dinner one night!
Hello Darling!

What You Need:

1 pk of Mild Sausage. (I bought mine at Publix)

2 tbsp of Butter.

1/4 cup of Maple Syrup. (roughly)

1 tsp of Light Brown Sugar.

How to Make Me:

Open sausage and cut into bite sized pieces.

Place butter in cubes in a frying pan, and let melt over medium heat.  Once it is slightly bubbly, add the sausage and cook until its all lightly brown.

Pour the maple syrup all over the sausage, mix it around and cover for about FIVE MINUTES.  Add the brown sugar and keep the pan covered, coming back to stir about every 5 minutes or so.

Keep cooking it until you have almost a molasses texture in the pan.

Take of heat, and serve!  You can serve this with ANYTHING! Sweet bread, eggs, veggies, or make a sandwich outta it.

I made mine with mac and cheese, sweet corn and I added cubes of cheddar for an amusing but delicious twist.
